limited edition books, broadsides, ephemera, tableture and site-specific installations.
Just as language is perpetually
evolving so, too, are its compositional spaces. We have come to expect certain conventions when encountering textual and
visual information, yet here create opportunities to inquire “and what is language?” We want to know what’s missing, and
what’s missing makes us want to know. As an extension of this line of questioning, we begin to dismantle binarisms—positive
or negative; weak or strong; total presence or total absence; ally or enemy; self or other—as we go about the task of
assembling a typographic forme. An investigation in-studio is never repeatable. Ultimately, what is produced has application
via a range of social and political frontiers. Here ends/Here begins…
